Remanufacturing

Step by step until they are as good as new.

Economy and ecology are not contradictory: a remanufactured part that ends up in a truck instead of being scrapped not only saves a lot of CO₂, but also money. Take an active part in this recycling and return your used Mercedes‑Benz Trucks parts. We remanufacture them to Genuine Remanufactured Parts using our 6‑step process.

The used part is professionally disassembled into its individual parts. This means that 99% of the parts can be reused or fed into the recycling cycle.

Each part is thoroughly cleaned in a complex process. Various processes are applied, from solvent bath to glass bead blasting.

Any possible damage is identified during the stringent inspection that follows. Complex measuring procedures check for dimensional accuracy and difficult-to-detect defects such as hairline cracks or leaks. If parts do not meet the strict test criteria, they are rejected.

The reusable parts are remanufactured so that they ultimately meet the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks specifications.

The tested, individual parts are assembled in accordance with strict Mercedes‑Benz Trucks criteria to form a complete Mercedes‑Benz Trucks remanufactured part.

In order to ensure the quality of the assembled parts, every remanufactured part is tested according to stringent series production criteria before shipment – like a part fresh off the assembly line.
