Introducing: HERBERT DAMMANN GmbH, mechanical engineering company. Founded in 1979 and a good 40 years later the company has become a hidden hero of the industry. Hidden away in the idyll of Lower Saxony between wind turbines and cultivated fields, the family business develops internationally sought‑after special vehicles – with engines from Mercedes‑Benz Trucks.
Research and build.
The company has achieved tremendous success. Demand and equipment are constantly increasing to such an extent that in 2006, it ultimately called for an expansion – DAMMANN needed a new plant for its machines. The halls in Buxtehude‑Hedendorf now cover 13,000 square metres, and every one of them means space for people, ideas, prototypes, machines and tools.
