The 2018 Actros Edition 1 special model not only included around 60 innovations from the current Actros, it was also available with seven different equipment packages. Edition 1 represented both sensational style and technological innovation.

The limited number of vehicles did not lessen our delight in each individual unit. From the end of 2018, 400 Actros Edition 1 trucks rolled off the production line just in time for the start of series production of the current Actros series, packed with innovations and equipment.

The unique qualities of this model were underscored by the seven equipment packages: Safety Package, Driving Package, Comfort Package, Media Package, Stowage Package, Sight Package and Extra Line. These included, for instance, an electric roller blind, ambient lighting, refrigerator, sound system, a table and much more besides.

This special model is instantly recognisable: the illuminated Mercedes star with black trim, grille applications, darkened headlamp surround and the “Edition 1” logo on the sun visor and type plate all express the pride of owning such a vehicle.

Edition 1 was the first special model to be available with MirrorCam and a gleaming chrome camera arm. A sparkling performance right down to the steps: the steps are made of stainless steel as are the vents in the side skirts, the rear axle caps and wheel nut caps.

The sleek, premium design continues into the cab: this starts with contrasting stitched seams on the door handles, a cockpit outfitted with black leather and exclusive floor mats. There is 8‑colour ambient lighting in the roof hatch so you can create a pleasant lighting ambience in the cab to suit your mood.

The upper bed comes with a duvet cover and is a record‑breaking 900 mm wide in tractor units. A wrap‑around curtain – almond beige on the inside, black on the outside – provides stylish privacy as does the curtain sporting the Mercedes‑Benz star across the front of the bed. On the co‑driver’s side, another “Edition 1” emblem in brushed aluminium emphasises the exclusivity of the vehicle, highlighting the vehicle’s serial number as one of only 400 limited editions.
