Mercedes-Benz had reason to celebrate at the prestigious 2019 Fleet Transport Awards.

Their commercial vehicles division in Ireland joined the winners enclosure as the Atego was honoured with the Irish Truck of the Year award in the medium distribution category.

The announcement and presentation of the trophy was made following a period of testing of the Atego 1224 by an expert adjudication panel.

Now in its 12th year, the annual Fleet Transport Awards Gala Banquet took place at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin recently. Attended by leading representatives from the transport industry, the event provides a platform to celebrate best practice in Ireland’s road transport operations and services sectors.
