But the Actros F will support you with a drivetrain that is geared to your application: from the economical Euro VI engine – for example the 3rd generation OM 471 – to the rear axle with a suitable ratio.
Smart drive programs
Even smarter on the road.
If you opt for the Actros F, you will receive smart drive programs as standard. In long-haul transport, the “economy” program increases efficiency and saves fuel. However, if you need the maximum output of your Actros F on uphill gradients, for example, you can use the “power” drive program.
Predictive Powertrain Control
Consuming less with foresight.
Whether uphill, downhill or on a straight road: with Predictive Powertrain Control, you can drive even more efficiently. This is made possible by the satellite-based system and precise 3D maps. The assistance system can recognise the route you are currently on and adapts the shift sequence to the upcoming driving situation. This means you’ll use up to 5 percent1 less fuel.
The OM 471
Saving while driving.
Good is now even better: Thanks to the interaction between the PowerShift Advanced transmission control and the 3rd generation OM 471 engine, your truck is dynamic when moving off and sensitive when manoeuvring. Internal engine improvements also ensure that you save fuel with your truck on your trips – and saving fuel means saving money.

Design and functionality combined: with long-lasting LED tail lights, two cab variants – suitable for long-distance haulage or heavy-duty distribution haulage – as well as roof spoilers and side deflectors that efficiently guide the air for lower consumption.

One button for central functions: In addition to the light check, you can use the convenience key to open, close, unlock and lock the driver’s and co-driver's door, the side windows and the tilting/sliding roof.

While on the move, your truck is a logistics hub. And when the work is done, the Actros F offers you your personal space with numerous stowage compartments and drawers, of which you can have even more if you wish. Above all, the comfort bed offers you a large lying surface with a length of 2.20 metres for recharging your batteries after the journey.
Rest and relax on 2.20-metre-long 7‑zone cold foam mattresses: making your nights and breaks particularly relaxing – so you're ready to go on your next trip! And if you want to feel even more comfortable, you can choose the optional PremiumComfort multi-zone mattress.

Climatised suspension seat
For StreamSpace or BigSpace cabs for long-haul transport, you can customise your workplace in the Actros F with ergonomic settings, including seat heating and armrests. The active ventilation system in the seat cushion and backrest ensures a good seat climate even on long journeys.
Multimedia Cockpit, interactive
A better overview of everything that's going on at your workplace: The 12.3-inch instrument cluster and the infotainment system with 10.2-inch multi-touch display can be easily operated via the multifunction steering wheel with Touch Control buttons. The two MirrorCam displays on the A‑pillars complete the digital cockpit.
Automatic air conditioning and auxiliary air conditioning system
Smartly regulate the climate in your truck: The automatic climate control system automatically adjusts the temperature, airflow and air distribution to the ambient conditions. If you also opt for the auxiliary air conditioning system, you can air-condition the cab for up to eight hours without idling: quietly and economically.

The premium entry-level model.
The Actros F plus delivers functionality and modernity in an extra class. Warranty

In addition to the 12-month warranty with unlimited mileage for the complete vehicle, the extended Mercedes‑Benz Trucks warranty extends to 36 months for parts of the drivetrain. It affects parts groups in the areas of engine, transmission, propeller shaft(s) and drive axle(s) up to max. 450,000 km depending on the type of use.
