Arocs

At home in construction haulage.

The Arocs is your resilient, powerful and efficient truck. Even under tough conditions.

Highlights

Your strong partner in construction haulage.

Reliability is key in the construction industry, which is why your Arocs is robustly constructed and functionally designed down to the last detail. All while ensuring high efficiency and safety. A wide range of equipment options, intelligent assistance systems and features such as Hydraulic Auxiliary Drive equip you for your working day.

Robust

Whether off-road or on-road: you can rely on the Arocs. The high ground clearance and wide slope angle, as well as protective elements such as the three-part bumper with steel corners, the flexible swinging entrance or the headlamp protective grilles, give you the resilience you need for your operations.

Powerful

If you need additional traction, the Hydraulic Auxiliary Drive is there for you: with up to 450 bar of hydraulic pressure at the front axle, without sacrificing a high payload or an optimal drivetrain.

Safe

Innovative assistance systems keep you safe on the road. This allows you to detect dangers at an early stage, brake in good time and keep an overview of the traffic situation.

Robustness

Built for the construction site.

Grounded.

Grounded

More traction at the touch of a button: the Hydraulic Auxiliary Drive (HAD) provides support with up to 450 bar of hydraulic pressure at the front axle. The high-pressure pump on the engine transfers the pressure and thus generates up to 40 kW of additional drive energy per front wheel. This means you can master slopes effortlessly – and get extra traction when you need it.

Performance for the toughest conditions.

Whether you prefer robust steel suspension or the combination of steel and air suspension – the Arocs can be adapted to your requirements. Two specially developed chassis variants ensure optimum performance on the construction site or on the road. With all-wheel-drive chassis ranging from 4x4 to 8x8 and the high ground clearance, you can also drive confidently on difficult terrain. And to safely move extreme loads uphill and downhill, the turbo retarder clutch is available as a wear-free moving-off and braking system.

Drive and save

Powerful, yet efficient: with the 3rd generation OM 471 engine and PowerShift Advanced transmission control, you can move off dynamically and manoeuvre your truck with precision. In-engine improvements ensure that you save money on every trip – using up to 4% less fuel compared to the previous generation of engines.

Comfort and design

Your attractive workplace.

Your work is hard. Your workplace comfortable. Perfectly designed features and a wide range of equipment options support you in your daily operations.

Tailored to your everyday work

The Arocs adapts to your requirements in construction haulage with a wide range of cab variants: choose between the compact S-cab, the more spacious M-cab with extra stowage space and optional bunk, or the L-cab for optimum sleeping comfort and relaxing rest periods. All variants are designed for construction site use, offering you a good overview and ergonomic controls.

Into your comfort zone

The standard air-sprung driver’s suspension seat can be adjusted to numerous positions. This ensures it remains comfortable even on long working days. The optional comfort suspension seat or the climatised suspension seat with integrated extras such as seat heating provide even more seating comfort. The durable covers are easy to clean and have a long service life.

Everything under control

In the Arocs, you have control over your everyday work: the stowage compartments, which can be accessed from the inside and outside, offer plenty of space, even for bulky items. Make use of the optional sliding trays to add even more order to your workspace. In addition to a refrigerator or an additional centre seat, you have several options for designing your Arocs to your own specifications.

Safety

Attentive helpers on board.

On the construction site and on the way there: Innovative assistance systems keep you safe on the road. This allows you to detect dangers at an early stage, brake in good time and keep an overview of the traffic situation.

Anticipatory driving style: the latest version of Active Brake Assist can now detect obstacles and critical situations even better and then react with appropriate measures – from clear warning signals to automatic full-stop braking.

Safety on both sides as standard: the latest generation of Active Sideguard Assist provides even better support when changing lanes, overtaking and turning in complex situations.

Keeping an eye on everything: Front Guard Assist monitors the area in front of the vehicle and supports the driver with warning signals in the event of possible hazards – for starting off, manoeuvring and turning more safely.

Reversing camera system

With the reversing camera system, you can keep an eye on what is happening behind your truck. As soon as you engage reverse gear, the system automatically switches on. This allows you to manoeuvre more precisely and operate more safely.
