So different and yet so similar: Black Liner and White Liner are superb workplaces from the year 2010.
Timeless gems.
Diamond white and obsidian black – contrasting paintwork yet united by a love of quality and expression: The Actros White Liner and Actros Black Liner were Mercedes‑Benz crowd‑pleasers at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2010. Both are incredibly exclusive with their fundamentally different exteriors. The Black Liner has chrome details on its exterior mirrors while those of the White Liner are white. The stainless steel steps of the Black Liner are black on the White Liner. The Black Liner has chrome headlight trim while the White Liner contrasts with a black version. LED daytime running lights, LED position lamps and compressed‑air horns emphasise the striking appearance of both trucks.

Limited Edition models: In 2010, the Black Liner and White Liner showed us what a dream workplace looks like.
Welcome to the deluxe workplace: leather in a warm shade of brown dominates the interior. On climate‑controlled seats, door mirrors with stitching, steering wheel and armrests, leather provides an exclusive feel throughout the interior. Dashboard and air vents in burl wood finish create a sophisticated connection to the rest of the interior.
Black Liners and White Liners take a lot off the driver’s hands. They feature automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, electric roller blinds on the windscreen, ambient lighting and a coolbox.
Electronic helpers.
Active Brake Assist 2, Telligent Lane Guard System, Telligent Stability Control and a driver’s airbag supplement the already ample range of equipment. The retarder and adaptive cruise control are optional. The number of units is just as exclusive as the equipment as this special edition is limited to 500 vehicles.
A touch of luxury – but made for work.
The company Spedition Schröder from Ebernhahn, Germany, acquired six vehicles from the series: Managing Director Joachim Altmann ordered three White Liners and three Black Liners: “When you look at the paintwork of the White Liner, you can see straight away that this is a very special truck. It is not just white, it has a paint finish that is otherwise only used on luxury cars. However, the deciding factor was for us to make a statement to our drivers and show our appreciation for them by purchasing these special‑edition vehicles.” Four trucks went to long‑serving drivers and two to young colleagues who had just completed their training. The idea was to show respect for the profession and promote young talent.
“Showing appreciation for our drivers with the White Liner and Black Liner.”
