Onwards into eMobility.
eActros LongHaul.
Charged for tomorrow.
Welcome to the era of profitable electric transport logistics. With the eActros LongHaul, we will set new standards for long-haul battery electric transport. The eActros LongHaul will be our profitable, sustainable and reliably integrated solution with its balanced drive power. Thanks to its new powertrain, the standard eActros LongHaul will offer a range of up to 500 kilometres without the need for interim charging. Megawatt charging will enable the batteries to be charged from 20 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes. The eActros LongHaul is therefore equipped for the majority of foreseeable long-haul transport applications. With the eActros LongHaul as an integrated solution, you can benefit from eConsulting, Mercedes-Benz Uptime in the repair and maintenance contract, Fleetboard Charge Management, and many other tailor-made services. The eActros LongHaul will be ready for series production from 2024 onwards – but you can already take a look at it at the IAA Transportation trade fair.
Truck Innovation Award for the eActros LongHaul.
"A new chapter in the direction of e-mobility” - this is how the jury of the Truck Innovation Award 2023 judged the eActros LongHaul. The decisive factors were the innovative overall technological concept with LFP battery technology and a new e-axle, as well as the high speed of development: Customer testing of the eActros LongHaul is expected to begin as early as next year. The jury also highlighted the compact dimensions of the semitrailer tractor. The Truck Innovation Award is presented by the jury of the "International Truck of the Year" award.

The eActros 300 and eActros 400 are more than just trucks. They individually form part of an integrated solution, one which also includes eConsulting and innovative, digital solutions. The trucks offer a range of up to 300 or 400 km – thanks to the highly efficient ePowertrain. Thanks to their greatly reduced noise emissions, they offer their drivers and passers-by a new level of comfort when it comes to inner-city traffic and urban life. As part of an integrated eMobility solution, with the eActros 300 or eActros 400 you also benefit from comprehensive eConsulting, which includes route analysis, incentive management and electro-specific digital services such as Mercedes-Benz Uptime, charging management, and service contracts.
eActros 300 and eActros 400
The eActros 300 and eActros 400 impress with a wide range of safety systems. The fifth-generation285, 287 Active Brake Assist is operating with a combination of radar and a camera system for the first time, and it can independently initiate braking within the system limits, not only at the tail end of traffic jams, but also when approaching pedestrians so that collisions can be prevented. The turning assistant can issue a warning in critical situations when turning right.
The new eActros 300 semitrailer.
With the new eActros 300 model variant as a semitrailer, we are systematically expanding the eActros' range of applications for heavy-duty distribution transport. The new eActros 300 semitrailer is particularly well suited to use in urban environments. The semitrailer is based on the same technology as the eActros 300 and the eActros 400 as a solo vehicle or articulated truck. Like the eActros 300 and eActros 400 models, the new eActros 300 semitrailer has an M cab. Three battery packs, each with 112 kWh3005 installed capacity, enable a range of up to 220 km3013. The powertrain is identical to that of the eActros 300 and therefore also delivers 400 kW peak power and 330 kW continuous power. The vehicle can tow all the usual European semitrailers, taking into account the maximum permissible total towing length. Like the eActros 300 and the eActros 400, the vehicle is offered as an integrated solution including consulting and charging infrastructure solutions. In addition, with the eActros Mercedes‑Benz Trucks is also providing its customers with comprehensive digital services tailored to eTrucks.

eMobility FAQ
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about electromobility.
What are the best arguments for eMobility?
- Mobility and logistics with a secure future, for example where there are driving bans in urban areas.
- Sustainable mobility with locally CO₂-neutral travel and completely CO₂-neutral operation if powered by 100 % green electricity.
- Increase in overall efficiency – electric vehicles provide far higher drive efficiency than diesel.
- Reductions in noise emissions as well as the beneficial rules for electric trucks, e.g. delivery times in pedestrian zones.
- Improved driver comfort and better driving experience in electric trucks.
Will the purely battery-powered eTruck survive alongside the hydrogen-powered truck?
- Battery-driven vehicles will be suitable for a number of different purposes, just as hydrogen-driven vehicles will, so they will complement each other.
- We don't believe in replacing battery-driven trucks with hydrogen-driven ones. Battery-driven vehicles provide the highest energy efficiency of all the alternative drive systems, whereas fuel-cell vehicles show high operational flexibility.
- Both technologies have key advantages for their respective areas of application, and that will continue to be the case in the future.
What role do electric trucks play in the long-term strategy of Mercedes‑Benz Trucks?
- Electrifying the commercial fleet is a key element of our long-term strategy.
- Mercedes-Benz Trucks is unequivocally committed to playing a leading role in this technology.
- Converting the fleet to alternative drive forms is extremely important to us.
How can I charge my eTruck?
- Generally, running charging infrastructure at your own depot is the best solution for the eActros and its haulage tasks.
- Mercedes-Benz Trucks will work out and propose an optimum charging infrastructure concept, together with selected partners, ideally suited for the requirements of the freight business and optimised to suit each individual customer.
- These charging infrastructure solutions are neatly integrated into the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks ecosystem, and our partners offer comprehensive services from advice and installation to maintenance.
What does Mercedes‑Benz Trucks offer regarding charging infrastructure?
- We will recommend the suitable hardware to our customers. This includes the charging station and cables, and also an energy management system, with the help of which the stations can be controlled and managed either directly or remotely.
- Also, a selected network of partners will support customers with installation and maintenance of the charging infrastructure at the customers' locations.
How long does it take to install the charging infrastructure?
- This depends on a number of different parameters, e. g. the size of the e-fleet, the driving profile of the vehicles and connection of the depot to the electricity supply.
- Time perspective: The process can take from a few months to more than a year.
- Recommendation: Get involved in the electrification of your fleet early on.
Can I use the charging infrastructure to charge other vehicles, e.g. vans and cars?
- The eActros has a CCS2 connection and thus conforms with the general standard for charge connections in the passenger car sector. Cars and vans which are equipped for charging with direct current via a CCS2 connection can therefore be charged at the eActros charging stations.
How many eTrucks will appear on the market in the next few years?
- In accordance with the requirements of the CO₂ regulation, a strong growth of alternative drives is to be expected in the truck market.
- We can envisage a ZEV growth of around 60% in Europe by 2030.
The new eEconic
For sustainable municipal deployment.
The new eEconic is perfect for deployment in urban areas with frequent stops. With just one charge, it has a range of up to 150 km2021. Together with the energy gained by recuperation, the eEconic can be used all day without the need for interim charging. This means that customers also benefit from low night rates when charging the new eEconic. The deep-set panorama window of the DirectVision cab enables direct visual contact with other road users and provides a very good overview of road traffic.
